The large living room features an eastern-facing window wall (with a bay waterview) and a monolithic green slate, two-sided, gas fireplace which opens to the kitchen/dining area. The kitchen, with bamboo cabinetry, bosch appliances and 6 skylights was designed for multiple chefs and is adjacent to the dining area on one side, and opens to the airy screened porch on the other.

Steps down from the porch is a private fenced garden: roses and dahlias bloom profusely under a mature apple tree; herbs and vines grow up the trellis and a huge, private, outdoor hot/cold shower completes the picture. There is also an open, breezy front entry porch, overlooking the bamboo grove, large circular tree-lined driveway, and the Mashomack Wildlife Preserve.
