We raised our son and daughter on Martha's Vineyard. We live about 8 miles from the house.

I inherited the house from my parents in 1994- they bought in in 1963. We renovated and expanded it into a year round home because it was in one of the most magnificent locations I had seen.

My husband and I already owned a home on Martha's Vineyard so we decided to maintain this house as a vacation rental. The house is a year round home, but it has been designed to take advantage of the view from every location.

The view looks out toward the ocean, and down toward our pond. We currently have a mother and baby otter living in the pond.

The birding is amazing as the islands are on a migration path and our own pond attracts many species of birds. Aquinnah is so natural that birds have wild vineyards and every other kind of berry to feast upon.
